So many nice things to say .... let me count the ways:
I have been with this Dental group since she opened the doors close to 10 years ago. Met Dr. Linh Nguyen in one of those rolling trailer dental practices that companies have for employees. She was so great I followed her to her new place - and never regretted it.
Good dentists are hard to find - and this is a good one.
Have never had to wait long - and if you do need to wait - they have Netflix to keep you entertained.
Open on Saturday - can always fit you in when you really need an appointment. They also will refer you out to a specialist if you need a root canal or something more complex....

R C.VA, VA012Sep 5, 2022Updated reviewUPDATE to previous review: I was contacted a few days after my initial review and they wanted us to come in for a meeting. I was initially annoyed I had to come in since I was already busy with my little ones and then having to add this to my growing to-do list. Sure enough, there was a communication breakdown between my mother and the receptionist or dental hygienist. After the meeting, I understood the dentist's explanation but I also saw that the issue was with the staff. I do applaud them for trying to fix the misunderstanding but I do wish they would have taken some sort of responsibility on their part for the miscommunication instead of shifting blame on my mother who misunderstood the wait time of services. For now, we will have to wait and see how satisfied my mother is with their services from here on out and I will update my review to reflect that.

It is unfortunate that we did not speak in person prior to your review as we would have been happy to clarify the situation for you. Your mother came to our office with a missing front tooth on her upper denture; she reported the dentures were fabricated 20+ years ago in the Philippines, and that it has required a few repairs from other offices- including one last year on the upper left denture (which she is unhappy with) in Hawaii. She enjoys eating nuts, which can be a challenging food with regard to dentures.
We discussed several options which included another repair of her existing denture and/or to fabricate a new denture for her. When you mentioned the ‘couple of weeks’ discussed with your mother, this timeframe was for the repair of the broken front tooth of her existing denture, not the total amount of time required to fabricate a brand new denture. Your mother opted against fixing her current denture and to proceed with making a new denture.
Fabrication of a cast metal partial denture typically requires several visits to achieve an optimal fit/aesthetics; each appointment requires a separate turnaround time dictated by the lab. Her last visit was about three weeks ago which is our standard protocol; this time is spent on metal framework design and lab processing outside of our office. This is why she was scheduled for yesterday (Monday), because we only received the case from the lab at the end of last week.
Your mother was informed of a rush fee option because the lab could complete the case sooner, but at an additional cost, which we simply pass onto the patient.
The turnaround time and steps, which is standard protocol for denture fabrication, were fully explained to your mother twice before we began treatment.
We hope this clarification helps. As we are unable to complete her dentures in the two week timeframe, I recommend finding another office that has that capability. We have issued a full refund of her copayment for services already rendered and wish your family the best.Aug 22, 2022Previous reviewMade an appointment for my mom to get her dentures fixed and first appointment went smoothly. But what happened after that has been unsatisfactory, to say the least. First off, they told my mom that it should take about a couple of weeks to get it fixed and to come in for the fitting. Unfortunately, she didn't hear anything from them for more than a month and had to call them on the status! Next, she went in for her second appointment and asked them how soon can she get them back after they make the necessary changes. They said another couple of weeks!! My mom was livid and expressed her concerns about the delay. So they end up saying that it can be done quicker but they would charge an "express fee" - unbelievable!! If you want your teeth done in a timely manner, this is definitely not the place!!

Had good experience at Riding Plaza Dental. They have been my Dentist of choice for a few good years now. Always conscientious and thorough in their work.

This practice is fantastic. We've been with them for more than a decade and the service is still as superb as the first day we met them. The staff is very friendly and professional and the dentist is outstanding and we all feel like she's a friend. We've recommended her to so many family members and friends.

This is the friendliest and most welcoming dental office I have ever been to. Everyone is so personable and accommodating that it makes your cleaning goes by in a breeze. Even though it's a bit further of a drive for me since my family has moved, they are definitely worth it!
